Children's Storytime
Children's storytime for children K-3rd grade. This free program lasts about 30-40 minutes. It is held on the second floor in the Storytime Room. No registration is required. Parents must attend the entire program with their child.
Tween Film Program
The Children's Department will host an exciting computer animated musical comedy movie for tweens ages 9 to 12 on Tuesday, December 13 at 3:00pm in the Friends Room. This rated G film lasts 96 minutes. It is about a domesticated Macaw who never learned to fly and enjoys a comfortable life with his owner, but later was caught by smugglers and embarks on an adventure to a magical foreign land. Wondering if he met any friends in this foreign land and if he fulfilled his dream of learning to fly? then please attend this free film showing program.

Family Faces Art Exhibition
To observe Mother's Day, the Children's Services Department will have a special Family Faces Art Exhibition program. Children from preschool through sixth grade are invited to participate. Starting April 17, children can pick up an entry form at the Children's Desk and draw a picture of their mother, grandmother, aunt or someone they love. Children's staff will display the artworks on the Children's bulletin board.
On May 1 at 2:00pm, all the participants with their loved ones will gather in the Friends Room for a special tea time and talk about their drawings. For more information about this program, please call the Children's Desk at (626)307-1358.
