The Children’s Department invites children from infants through sixth grade to participate in the 2010 Summer Reading Program with a theme of “Make a Splash — READ.”

During the program, to encourage children to read, each participating reader will receive a variety of reading incentives including pencils, reading bags, door hangers, bookmarks, book covers, notepads, key chains, and water toys. Children who read ten books will receive a reading certificate, a flip flop suncatcher photo frame, and an entry form to win a bright red T-shirt with the Summer Reading Club logo “Make a Splash-Read.”
