To celebrate National Library Week, April 11-17, the library is holding a bookmark/essay/photo contest entitled “Communities Thrive @ your library.”  It is open to preschool-aged children through twelfth graders. Entries will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on March 25.  Entries for preschoolers to sixth graders may be turned in to the Children’s Desk, for seventh graders through twelfth graders to the Reference Desk.

All the entries become the library’s property. The first place winner for each category will receive a $25 cash award.  The winners will be announced on Monday, April 12 at 7:00 p.m. in the Friends Room.
