For Teens: Advanced Internet Search Techniques

The library is offering special computer classes for students to help them conduct research on the Internet for research papers and other school assignments. The classes will cover how to use magazine databases available through the library and popular search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and others. The classes will also teach students how to evaluate information they find on the Internet. Each class is on Tuesday afternoon from 3:30-5:00 p.m. in the library’s computer lab. The dates are: November 6 Searching Magazine Databases’ Techniques November 13 Advanced Google Search Classes are free, but seating is limited.
