On Saturday, April 4, at 1:00 p.m. in the Friends Room, the library will offer the first of the five-part career workshop series. This series will begin with Resume Writing and Presentation Skills, an introduction to today’s increasingly competitive job marketplace in a turbulent economy. The workshop will review effective resume writing and cover letter writing strategies that can improve one’s chance of capturing the attention of hiring managers. Attendees will learn how to market themselves in this workshop that emphasizes the importance on how you look in print and in person.  This program will be free to the public, and refreshments will be served.
