The LAMP Literacy citizenship class continues on Saturday mornings from 9:00-11:30 a.m. in the Large Classroom.

Sunday, September 7 at 2:00 p.m. the Friends of the Monterey Park Library will sponsor more one act plays in Mandarin from the Windchime Drama Group. Light refreshments will be served. For more information call the Reference Desk at (626) 307-1368.

The Alhambra Unified Adult School District is offering a free “Citizenship Preparation” class on Fridays from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. starting September 12 in the Large Classroom. Registration for this class is held during class.

Cheryl Rendes’ program will feature live animal ambassadors to enhance and stimulate further interest and studies about the environment, habitats, adaptations, endangered species, and animal survival behavior and skills.
